    We start with what is present — an idea, a feeling, a question, a body of work, a dream, or something you can't quite name yet — and spend time discovering what it wants to become.

    Conversation, research, creative exercises, imagination, experimentation, and design are all part of the process.

    The final form might be visual, digital, spatial, editorial, material, experiential, or something we couldn't have named at the beginning.

  • For projects that continue to evolve, I also work through an ongoing creative relationship.

    We might begin with one project and continue into another — a website, publication, packaging, art direction, a new body of work, or something else that emerges along the way.

    The relationship can evolve with the work.

How I work


I like to meet a project as if I'm meeting a being — curious to discover its character. I believe every project has its own questions, personality, purpose, desires, values, and ways of moving through the world. Sometimes these things are already clear; other times they are still developing as a feeling, a question, a desire, or something that doesn't go away.

I explore through conversation, questionnaires, research, collecting images, making things, and following connections that don't make sense yet — listening for what the project is revealing, and using intuition and design to help shape what we discover.

My artistic and Psychosomagic practice also shapes the way I work. Imagination, embodiment, symbolism, intuition, and ritual can become part of the process when they are useful to the project.

The work is about developing a meaningful relationship with what you are making and giving it a form that feels alive, wonderful, and functional.
